Introducing ReDock: your AI has a dock now

Why we built a native macOS dock where agents create real sites, share them through tunnels, and deploy to the edge, with honest status the whole way.

Local development tooling has been stuck in the same shape for a decade: a menu-bar app that starts PHP, a terminal for everything else, and a prayer when HTTPS is involved. Meanwhile, the way we build changed completely — an agent can write the site, wire the database, and draft the launch post. What it couldn’t do was run any of that on your machine without you babysitting a terminal.

ReDock is our answer. It’s a native macOS app — Tauri and Rust, not a browser in a trench coat — that gives every project a real .test domain with a trusted certificate, its own pinned runtimes, and one honest status light.

The dock, not the terminal

Everything ReDock can do is exposed twice: once as calm, clickable UI, and once as MCP tools on localhost:47200. That second surface is the whole point. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor — anything that speaks MCP — can create a site, start it, share it through a Cloudflare tunnel, and deploy it to the edge, exactly the way you would.

There’s a full agent built in, too: conversation history, WordPress authoring through real blocks and patterns, magic login into your own sites. And if you’d rather nothing leave your Mac, ReDock manages a local-model catalog sized to your hardware.

Honest state, everywhere

The design rule that outranks every other: the UI never claims what isn’t true. Status is mapped from backend truth — if the dock says Running, the process exists; if it says Deploying, bytes are moving. That’s also why our marketing looks the way it does: what you see on this site is what the app does.

Where this goes

Sharing (QuickShare, named subdomains) and one-click Cloudflare deploys are live today. For the live WordPress sites you look after for other people, ReDock Web at app.redock.xyz connects them to the same agent. Download ReDock and bring your agent.
