Free · macOS and Windows Download ReDock.
One download, then a running site about a minute later. No terminal, no Docker, no account.
One extra click, once.
Neither build carries a code-signing certificate yet, so both systems will say so the first time you open it, and both let you continue. It is a certificate we have not bought, not a sign anything is wrong. After the first open, ReDock behaves like any other app.
Read the manifest. Make a site.
Setup shows you a numbered list of everything it will change on your machine before it changes anything, and every item is reversible from Settings → Uninstall.
- 01 Install it. On macOS, open the .dmg and drag ReDock to Applications, then open it from there. On Windows, run the installer.
- 02 Read the manifest, approve once. A local certificate authority so your sites get real HTTPS, routing for .test addresses, and ReDock's own folder for the runtimes it installs. It also says plainly that anonymous error reports are on, and names the switch: Settings → Advanced.
- 03 Make a site. New site → WordPress. Wait for the green pill. Open wp-admin. That is the whole onboarding.
