Getting started

Install ReDock

Get the dock onto your computer and trust the local certificate authority.

ReDock ships for macOS 12 or newer on Apple silicon, and for 64-bit Windows 10 or newer. Neither build is code-signed yet, so the very first open takes one extra click: right-click → Open on macOS, More info → Run anyway on Windows.

  1. Download the .dmg and drag ReDock to Applications, or run the Windows installer.
  2. First launch asks one permission: to trust ReDock’s local certificate authority. This is what makes https://*.test show a real padlock. The change is scoped, auditable, and removed on uninstall.
  3. That’s the whole install. No Homebrew, no Docker, no PATH edits.

ReDock never installs runtimes onto your system itself: every PHP, Node, Bun or MySQL version lives in ReDock’s own toolchain directory, per version, per site.
